80% of local households do not support closure of Dulwich Village junction

Southwark Council wants us to believe that it’s only a vocal minority against their current experimental measures. But a report summarising the results of surveys carried out by ten local residents’ groups in the past few weeks shows an overwhelming lack of support for the 24/7 closure of the junction of Dulwich Village, Court Lane and Calton Avenue. We reproduce the report below. A significant 80% – four out of five households surveyed – do not support the closure.

Is it now time for democratically elected councillors who are supposed to be representing the views of all their constituents to listen to what people are saying?
